GENERAL
INFORMATION
The CPR/AED certification
is for professional rescuers. It does not include
a first aid certification. First aid is covered on
Tuesdays for the lifeguarding students. The CPR/AED
students are welcome to attend but they will not receive
a certification card for first aid specifically.
It is scheduled the first two nights of the class.
You must attend both nights to get certified in all three
categories.
The
classes are Monday thru Thursday, 5:00 - 9:00 pm and Saturday,
9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
*Additional time
may be required for training purposes.
Please bring paper,
pencil, bathing suit & towel to class. Books &
testing materials are provided.
The cost of the
class is $225.00 for new certifications and recertifications. We
take cash or check only.
Please signup
for class no later than the Saturday prior to the class.
The class could be cancelled or rescheduled if we don't
have enough people signed up for class by Saturday.
**You must be
at least 15 years old to take the class. Any special
allowances must be approved by Robby Riley, our Aquatics
Supervisor
Lifeguard certification is valid for three years.
